Herbed Oven Fries

I wrote this recipe down last time I made it, but the corner piece that had the amount of potatoes writte on it was ripped off.  So, I'm not 100% sure if it's 2 pounds or 3 pounds of potatoes, but I will look next time I make this recipe.

Ingredients
  • 2 (maaaybe 3) pounds potatoes - the golden potatoes are my favorite
  • 1/8 cup unrefined olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic

 Directions

1.  Cut the potatoes into wedges by cutting them long ways and then cutting each half into thirds.

2.  Put the potatoes in a large bowl and cover with the remaining ingredients.  Toss to coat the potatoes evenly.

3.  Dump the coated wedges onto a lined baking sheet in a single layer.

3.  Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 - 20 minutes, or until golden brown on the outside and easily pierced with a fork.  The size of your potatoes will determine the actual cooking time, so watch them relatively closely the first time you make these.
