I saw these shoe organizers at the store for around 5 bucks, and thought they'd make great pantry organizers! All of my favorite bottles, jars, and spices are really easy to access, plus I cleared tons of pantry shelf space for other things!
This won't work for me (no available door) but it is an excellent example of repurposing (using something for a non-intended purpose). I have a multi-hook over-the-door hanger that holds my wok, a couple large strainers, a sieve, a sifter, a 4-sided grater and a jar lifter that I use when canning. Good work!
I have one of these on the other side of my basement door to hold all kinds of junk! :) Tape, batteries, glue gun/glue sticks, etc. Never thought of it for spices...now I'm sad I don't have a pantry.
